The word "UONUMA" on the green ears of rice catches my attention. I visited "GINZA Uonuma" for lunch, a creative Japanese-style meal restaurant that uses ingredients from Niigata. It's about a 3-4 minute walk from Tsukiji Station. It's on the first floor of an apartment building along the road that leads to the back of Tsukiji Honganji Temple, and the exterior has glass doors. Inside, there is a counter with about 9 seats arranged in an L shape, and the seats are a little high, so it's comfortable to look into. Comical jazz music plays softly in the background, and I quickly find a place to relax. The owner works alone, and after taking an order, he skillfully prepares grilled fish and Fried food.
