ものすごく...まではいかないが、そこそこ
バリエーションがあるランチビュッフェ。
和洋中...いや、中華はない。ご飯や雑炊、
和の惣菜、パスタ類、野菜は生野菜と蒸し
野菜。天ぷらやフライの揚げ物、ロースト
ビーフやハム、ミートボールなどの肉類。
微妙に茶色の惣菜が多い気もするが、
子供からご高齢の皆さんまで大丈夫かと。
味も悪くない。ランチビュッフェにて、
すごく美味しいと言うのも滅多にないが、
ホテルのレストランで、価格的にも満足
できるものだと思う。ヘタな街のホテルで
いただくよりも遥かに良いし、スタッフの
対応も良い。広く開放感のある空間は
窓も大きく明るい。
この日いただいたもので、個人的に気に
入ったのはショートパスタとハーブの
ソースでいただく蒸し野菜。ニンジンに
ジャガイモとオクラ。パンは3種だが
ご飯を中心としたので今回はパスした。
メニューとしてはないが、白米に塩昆布や
柿の種、沢庵などを乗せ、焙じ茶をかけ
即席のお茶漬けも良い。
ドリンクはコーラ等ソフトドリンクは
サーバーから。果汁系は生産農家の名も
明らかにされている。ちょっと気になった
ことはグラスの汚れが若干残り気味だった
ところ。食洗機だと思うが、洗剤落ちが
いまひとつなのかな。
平日の客層は男性ビジネスマンがメイン。
だからなのかデザート系は貧弱に見える。
もっとも自分もいただかないので、
メインターゲットには合っていると思うが
ホテルランチならもう少し種類などが
あっても良いかも知れない。
平日の開店直後から12過ぎまでは客足も
まだなく、ほぼ貸し切り状態でゆったりと
過ごせるだろう。ビッグサイトで展示会が
行われていても、それほど大きなもので
なければ、お昼にこちらまで足を延ばす
ことはあまりないと思うし、ビッグサイト
周辺もそれなりにお高いところが多いので
選択肢に入れてもいいだろう。
