It was my first day off after the new year. I went there for lunch while shopping. I entered the restaurant almost at the same time as it opened, and it said I could sit at the counter or a table, so I said I was fine with sitting at the counter and went to a seat in the back of the restaurant. I thought about ordering nigiri, but decided chirashi would be better. I ordered the special chirashi (2,618 yen). There seemed to be some familiar faces at the counter, and they were having lively conversations. The bowl arrived about 3 minutes after I ordered, which was quite fast. At first glance, it didn't have as much impact as the menu photo. It didn't really convey the volume. I decided to eat it. All the ingredients were very fatty, especially the tuna. The shrimp were about the same size, but they had a firm texture and were delicious. As I continued to eat, I found herring roe at the bottom of the ingredients. It's been a while since I've eaten herring roe. There wasn't much sea urchin, but I guess it can't be helped considering the price. The miso soup was pretty average, and I didn't really taste the shrimp broth. The amount of rice is a little small, but there is a decent amount of toppings, so I won't be full, but I think it's enough to satisfy me. Watching the sushi being made in front of me, I thought the sushi was good, and my lunch ended. The toppings were not bad, the portions were decent, and the cost performance was average.
