江戸の昔から寿司屋でも鰻屋でもランク(価格)を表す「松竹梅」という符号。「松は特上、竹は上、梅は並」というのが通例です。
赤羽橋 "梅寿司"
昼時にふらりと初めて立ち寄った店。
店の間口からは想像できないほど内部は奥に広く、手前からテーブル席、次にカウンター席、奥に座敷と、寿司屋にしては変わった造りです。
周辺の会社員と思しき男女で賑わう店内。
カウンター席に座り、予め店外のランチメニュー写真を見て決めていた、"握り1.5人前" 1300円を注文。
シャリが固めに握られた寿司。
ネタはお値段なりですが、東京タワーの下で、「回転しない」寿司屋で板前さんが握る寿司が1300円ですからね。
蛇足ですが、味噌汁がとても美味い。魚介のアラ出汁が効いてる寿司屋のお椀は旨しです。
