Similar to the external façade, this place is very simple, clean but a minimalist restaurant. Focused on seafood, you have the option of a seafood bowl or fried / stewed / deep fried lunch. If you have a hard time choosing, you can also go for a combination platter, my choice, mackerel stewed in miso and deep fried shrimp, sardine and oyster. You also have to choose the size of rice, which is a bit rare in Japan. The lunch option comes with side dishes and looks like something served at an expensive restaurant. The food was delicious, but comes at a pretty good price. If you are looking for a quick lunch, I'd stay away from this place. Good food, but the vibe just didn't sit well with me. [Impressions] While exploring new areas around Tamachi Station (towards Shibaura), I was intrigued by Takumi's simple exterior and decided to visit for the first time. The interior was surprisingly simple and uncluttered, with a clean and neat interior. The food was Japanese-style meal, and on this day they only had fish dishes. You could choose between a fresh Seafood Bowl or a set meal of grilled, boiled, or fried dishes, and you could mix and match the set meals, so I chose the mixed fries (sardines, shrimp, scallops) and miso-boiled mackerel. It came with a small dish, which was quite elegant, but the price was also quite reasonable. It's a bit unusual that the price changes depending on the amount of rice, so it's not suitable for people who want to eat a lot. It's delicious, but a bit too elegant for me...
