A young couple who are relatives visited here a while ago and the sea squirts were so delicious that they invited their husband, who loves sea squirts, to join us. This is a special squirt course. I wasn't as interested in the sea squirts, so I just wanted to taste them a little at a time, so I ordered the regular course. The sea squirt course using true sea squirts from Miyagi is 7,000 yen. My course is 6,000 yen. I received the following, the top is the Hoya course and the bottom is the regular course. ◻︎ Appetizers (common) - Fried Esashi eggplant in oil - Lightly pickled fruit tomatoes - Pickled seaweed and Vinegared dish- Soaked seaweed and hijiki - Salt-boiled peanuts ◻︎Sashimi - Hoya... it's super fresh. I have never seen anything so fresh, both in the shell and the flesh.・Sea bream, red grunt, oyster bream, yellowfin tuna ◻︎Simmered Simmered dish ・Boiled sea squirts, ginger, green onion... Delicious soup with no odor ・Cold bowl of shrimp, winter melon, tomato, green beans ◻︎Grilled dishes ・Salt-grilled sea squirts, grilled sea squirts with miso...Either Great for pairing with sake ・Salt-grilled sweetfish and candied sweet potato with vinegared lotus root. In particular, the candied sweet potato is delicious and not too sweet. - Added grilled oysters... Although it doesn't seem like a big fish, it has a lot of fat and a chewy texture. Very delicious.・Added Geso-yaki ◻︎Fried Fried food (Tempura) ・Hoya, okra of the Star of David original species, red Manganji, pumpkin ・Conger conger and vegetables are common ・Added corn kakiage...The seaweed is mixed appropriately and it has a nice aroma.Everything is very good. It was delicious, but it was a little disappointing that it was covered in salt. It was quite salty, so it would have been better to add salt separately. ◻︎Strong side dish - Onagawa's Local Cuisine Hoya Tamago...a dish I've never tried before. Serving it with boiled eggs adds flavor.・None ◻︎Meals ・Rice cooked with squirts ・Rice cooked with corn ・Same red soup stock Both rice is really fragrant, fluffy and delicious. The husks of the corn are probably also used to make the soup stock, which gives it a very fragrant flavor.・The young man added tea soba ・The wife added sweetness In any case, we were all impressed by how a menu that we would never get tired of could be made with just sea squirts. Also, this place has an impressive selection of sake. I wasn't feeling well and only drank 5 shaku, which is rare. My wife doesn't drink sake either. I was drinking a lot of other things. The two men drank seven types of sake. The service was quick and pleasant despite the small number of people. The only thing that bothers me is the smell when I enter the store. It might be difficult to do since it seems like they put a lot of effort into everything, including the utensils, but I thought it would be a good idea to light some incense for the first impression. Well, if you do that, the price may go up. The food is so dignified that it's worth it. We drank as much as we wanted, added various things, and ended up spending about 10,000 yen per person. It's an amazing cost performance. Today, there was a reservation for a group of about 10 people next door, so I was told that I would like to order a course, but they also said they would be able to accommodate a la carte options. It's been quite a while since I last visited, and I thought it was a wonderful shop. I look forward to hearing from you again.
