I entered "Hikini Lotus" near Mita Station. The inside of the store has a calm atmosphere, and there are counter seats, so you can feel free to come in alone. Looking at the menu, as the name of the restaurant suggests, most of the dishes use hikiniku. I ordered Hamburg and sausage platter. The hikiniku is packed with the flavor of the meat and is soft and chewy! Paired with the spicy demi-glace sauce, it has the perfect texture. It's hearty and fills you up. They also have standard Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) menu items such as Gyoza / Dumpling, salad, and Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers), so it's perfect for dining alone or with friends. With reasonable prices, I think this is a shop you can easily stop by on your way home from work. Next time, I would like to order a beer and enjoy the meaty hikiniku cuisine slowly!
