ツレが友人から勧められた「つばめグリル」に行ってみたいとの希望あり、沢山ある店舗のなかで旗艦店である「品川駅前店」を選びました。自分もツレも初来店です。
日曜の12時頃に到着しました。行列ができていていますが、予約順を機械で発券します。すると10組程度の先客がいることが判明。店内で並んで待ちます。席数が多いのか、どんどん順番が進みます。15分くらいで着席できました。

●冷製オードブルの盛り合わせ 1080円
パテ・タン・ハム・アイスバイン・ザワークラウト・紫キャベツ・パン
パテはパンに乗せて食べると格別です。ハムもタンもいい味わいです。アイスバインは塩味もちょうどよく、ザワークラウトとの相性は抜群。ビールが進みます。

●豚ロースステーキ ペッパー風味 1880円
粒胡椒がこれでもかとかかっているので、ピリッとした大人味のロースステーキは骨付きで提供されます。厚みがありますが軟らかく仕上げてあるので、噛みきれないなんてことにはなりません。ジューシーな豚ロースは噛むほどに旨みが溢れます。

風船のように膨らんだアルミホイルに包まれて提供されます。そのアルミホイルをナイフで切ると溢れる湯気と共にハンバーグが現れます。しっかりとした食感のハンバーグは肉の感じが強いです。自家製ビーフシチューのソースもたまりません。
ツレは飲み物頼まず、自分はビール2杯にワイン2杯。それで総額8850円はむしろお得な感じがします。老舗の洋食屋さんという雰囲気もよく、料理もお酒も満足です。ご馳走様でした。
