お客さんに誘われて訪問。
以前にも来てみたことがあったけど、その時は満席で入れなかった。この日はリベンジで予約をしてから入店。
ワインはお店の方にお任せしたけど、安価ながらも味わい深いものをいくつか紹介してくれてなかなかセンスが良かった。特に赤ワインのセレクトがいいように感じる。お肉を食べてないので分からないけど、重いメイン料理と合わせる時にはもう少し深い味わいのものが欲しくなるかもしれない。
料理は牡蠣のムニエルが最高に美味しかった。身がプリプリで絶妙の火入れ。濃厚なクリーム味なんだけど、パイも添えてあるので、崩しながら食べると食感もよくて、すごく美味しい。
その他には名前は忘れたけど、海外の野菜とイカの炒め物。少し春を先取りした苦味のある味がお酒とよく合う。これはワインでなくて日本酒ともきっと合うはず。
そしてこれまた濃厚なチーズたっぷりのクリームスープ。ちょっと寒い日だったので、このシチュー風の味がとても温まる♪
意外に美味しくてお酒とあったのが自家製ピクルス。酸味がちょうどよく抑えられていて、かなり上手に漬けられている。きっと余ったワインも上手に使ってるんだろうなぁと思う。
最後はガッツリイチゴたっぷりのデザートでしめて終了。カウンターでひとりしっぽり飲むのにもいいかもしれない♪
