Sakazen Sameshima opened on May 21, 2017. It will reopen at a new location on March 3, 2022. Reservations must be made by the day before. The website has a URL for the reservation site. Seasonal Japanese Cuisine with a focus on dashi. We offer simple dishes that learn from the past. We always have 40 types of pure rice sake, mainly seasonal sake. We will make suggestions based on the weather of the day and the customer's preferences. Enjoy the synergistic effect of flavor by pairing the dashi with pure rice sake. The Japanese-modern interior and calm counter create a luxurious yet relaxing and soothing space. |

I made a reservation online on a weekday evening and visited, and was looking forward to it as it was my first time since the restaurant moved. It opens at 6pm, and unlike before, there is only eight seats at the counter. I started with a beer. The order of what came out was: ● Deep fried conger eel ● White squid with okra ● Salmon roe chawanmushi ● Ishigaki shellfish ● Hairtail fish and mullet roe spring rolls ● Udon noodles with tomato ● Wagyu beef shabu shabu with warm vegetables ● Soup bowl It seems that the conger eel was not deboned, but rather cooked with the bones removed one by one. The salmon roe in the ikura chawanmushi was still small but had a good texture and was a satisfying portion. This restaurant uses seasonal ingredients generously, and the satisfaction level is high. I left the sake selection to the proprietress and had about six types. It was a quiet atmosphere where I could relax. At the end, the owner saw us off. Thank you for the meal.
