大森駅近で軽くランチ。タイカレーのお店がヒットしました。派手な看板の大衆的な雰囲気のお店です。
なかなか広くてタイ風の置物があったりして、居心地は悪くない。
ランチメニューは7種類のカレーが用意されており、2種や3種の盛り合わせも可能。ちょっと目移りしますね。ガパオライスもできるらしい。
スペシャルセット 800円
悩んだ末、2種のカレーのセットにしました。7種類の中から、レッドとグリーンをチョイスしました。
レッドカレーはタケノコと鶏肉のカレー。ココナッツミルクが甘味を足しているスパイシーな味わい。ハーブも加えられていますね。タイらしいカレーです。
グリーンカレーは、最もポピュラーなタイのテイスト。これもココナッツミルクが効いていてスパイシー。茄子と豚肉が入っていました。豚は珍しい。
ご飯は大盛り、おかわり無料と気前が良い。普通の日本米をふっくらと炊き上げてあって、これはこれで美味しいお米ですが、タイカレーに合うのかと言われると・・・
800円という価格で本格的なタイカレーが楽しめるお店です。もう少しスパイスとか辛さのインパクトがあってもいいかな、と思うけど、お手軽なランチとしては利用しやすいです。
