今日８月31日は「野菜の日」なので、facebook内で今月初めに紹介されてずっとブックマークしていた大森「活菜や ちまき」へ。肉も魚も全く無し、全て野菜を使った料理が出ます。
次々と注文する我々に店員から、「大丈夫ですか？」「かなり量ありますよ」「ポテトとか大和芋とか、炭水化物ばかりですよ」と言われながらも、満腹でデザートこそ食べられなかったけど11皿を３回にわたって注文し、店員たちを驚かせました。玉蜀黍のチヂミ、季節野菜のちまき風 和風 具羅堪、ちまき特製ＮＥＯ芋菜サラダ、茗荷の天婦羅、野菜だけの冷汁あたりが特においしかった。筆者が辛いの苦手なので辛さは控えめに注文しましたが、辛いメニューもありますし、辛い調味料もありました。
軽く完食すると、我々の健啖ぶりに驚いていました。次の予定もあるのに食べ過ぎたから一人5000円越えでしたが、普通の食事量なら3000円台で満腹かも。大森までは遠いけど、近くなら月１で通うかも。やはり「変わった」料理には惹かれます(笑)
