ＪＲ蒲田駅西口から南西に徒歩2～3分、飲食店が並ぶマンション一階に3月上旬にオープンした大衆ビストロです。低温調理の肉料理がウリらしい。
オープン当初からちょっと無機質な独特の外観が気になっていましたが、蒲田のシェアオフィスで仕事をした際のランチで初めて伺ってみました。
11時45分頃の入店でしたが20席弱の店内に先客の姿はありません。これはしくじったかと一瞬思いましたが、ワンオペの店主の方に勧められるまま、二人用のテーブル席に着きました。
店内も無機質な感じでコンクリート打ちっぱなしに見えますが、それはそういう壁紙。壁のあちこちにメニューの書かれたA4が貼られていることに加え、上からはナポリの洗濯物のようにA4用紙が吊り下げされています。
それらのメニューはフレンチとイタリアンのミックスという感じ。ワインの中には微発泡、低アルコール、やや甘口のランブルスコもあります
ランチのメニューは牛モツ麻婆豆腐丼、生姜焼き＆チキン南蛮丼、豚肩ロースガーリックステーキ、和牛ハンバーググリル、牛すじカレーの5種類。中から一番ビストロっぽい豚肩ロースガーリックステーキを注文しました。ご飯とドリンクバーが付いて950円です。
取りに行ったアイスコーヒーを飲みながら待つこと7～8分。パエリア鍋に盛られたステーキと千切りキャベツ、ライスが届きました。
ステーキは厚めの豚肩ロース180gでどこそこのボリューム感。赤茶色のソースが絡められて上にはフライドガーリックが乗っています。食べてみると、んー、これは自分の語彙の中ではトンテキ。にんにく醤油の味付けも良くて豚の肉質もまずまずです。とは言うものの、こちらならではというところは特にありません。
なお、食べ終わって店を後にするまで、次のお客さんはついに現れず。コロナ禍という逆風の中での出発は大変だと思いますが頑張って欲しいと思います。
