Tabelog Award Silver. A charcoal-grilled Italian Cuisine run by Chef Watanabe Daisuke and sommelier Muranaka Shiki, who quickly made Nakameguro's RODEO a difficult place to book. Even though I lived nearby, I could only visit once during the RODEO era. As soon as Sanwa opened, reservations were unavailable, and I was frustrated that I couldn't go even if I wanted to. I finally begged a friend who visits regularly! It was my long-awaited first visit! I was surprised when Chef Watanabe and Mr. Muranaka, whom I hadn't seen in six years, said, "It's been a long time." I already like it at this point... lol The interior of the restaurant is spacious and the seats are wide. The counter seats are very comfortable. The course is a prix fixe menu with a choice of main, pasta, and dessert. Yes, this is also exciting and exciting from the moment I choose the menu.・Freshly sliced Prosciutto and gnocco fritto ・Cold basil pasta with sea urchin and eggplant ・Nachikatsuura tuna carpaccio ・White asparagus and scrambled eggs with summer truffles ・Fried golden-eyed snapper with Japanese pepper ・Ginger granita ・Assortment of charcoal-grilled seasonal vegetables ・Iwate Ishiguro's guinea fowl ・Pasta with squid ・Fresh tomato pici ・Tiramisu ・Coffee ・Wine pairing I was surprised... I came here without any prior preparation, with the image of RODEO on my mind, so I can't keep up with its evolution lol. Freshly fried bread and freshly sliced Prosciutto with Burgundy bubbles. This was the best start, so I didn't want to go back for more after a while. I was instantly captivated by the cold pesto that was served as a greeting. For me, the key to Italian Cuisine is pasta. The compatibility of pasta on an empty stomach can also be the compatibility of the restaurant, so I'm already in the mood. The tuna carpaccio was also amazing. Honestly, as someone who frequently goes to sushi restaurants where you can eat the best tuna in Japan, I rarely get impressed by tuna dishes at Italian Cuisine restaurants, but I was honestly shocked that they could be served in such a way. classic dishes such as the scrambled eggs with white asparagus were also delicious, and the fried red snapper with a hint of Japanese pepper was also a great skill. The wines that were paired with the dishes were perfect and the timing of the food was also pleasant. Wow, I didn't expect it to be this good. After the palate cleanser, it was time for the charcoal grilled dishes. The grilled vegetables were so delicious that I could eat as much as I wanted, even though it was only halfway through. The guinea fowl, my favorite main dish, had crispy skin and was surprisingly juicy, and the flavor was firmly locked in, making it the best I've ever eaten. There were many options to choose from, but I would definitely like to eat it again. I ordered two types of pasta! First of all, I ordered squid, attracted by the name. It was a mountain of firefly squid and squid ink pasta, and it was by far the best squid ink pasta I've ever eaten. The fresh tomato pici is a simple sauce that really tests its true value. It has a refreshing acidity with a slight spiciness as an accent. It's a satisfying pici that makes for a perfect finale. I deeply regret not ordering 3 or 4 types of pasta, no, all of them. I'd like to try Hamburg pasta from the Rodeo days for the first time in a long time...lol. Even my favorite tiramisu was delicious, and it was a very satisfying Sanwa debut. I was hooked on my first visit. I was with a friend who was a regular customer, and it was friendly and comfortable from start to finish. It was a happy night. I would definitely like to return!! I'll leave it at that lol.
