いつの間にかオシャレな街と化した五反田。そこからほど近くの、リニューアルオープンしたばかりという肉酒場です。店内はお座敷ありちゃぶ台ありの、ノスタルジックを感じるホッと落ち着ける雰囲気。お座敷以外にもテーブル席や個室もあって、使い勝手も良さそうです。
おススメを中心にオーダーしながら、ビールとお通しの鶏皮ポン酢でスタート。
半熟卵とポテチがのったポテトサラダとさといもの衣揚げがやってきます。ここのポテサラは全体的にマイルド。やはり半熟卵が良い仕事をしています。しょっぱいポテチがアクセントになって、それがまた良し。さといもの衣揚げは、サクッとした衣にねっとりしたさといもがたまりません。これ、特に女性は好きな方が多いと思います。熱々でやってくるので、猫舌さんは要注意。
続いては有機野菜の盛り合わせ。自家製肉味噌が付いてきます。ミニトマト、ビーツ、パプリカ、島らっきょう、等々…、どれもパリッとしていて本当に新鮮。肉味噌がまた思ったよりも優しい味で、野菜によく合います。
野菜系が続いたところで、主役のお肉第一弾が登場。馬刺しです。レバー、タテガミ、霜降りの3種類で、レバーはごま油、タテガミと霜降りは辛みそか醤油でいただきます。これがまた、クセや臭みが全くなくて、甘さと旨みを感じるお肉でした！個人的には、特にタテガミがおススメ。質の良い脂が舌の上でほんのりとけて、絶品です。
お肉の第二弾は、肉盛りプレートです。仙台牛の黒毛和牛A5ランクですって！それでもすごいのに、山盛りのその量にも驚きです。これはテーブルが絶対盛り上がる、鉄板のメニューですね。チョリソ―にチキンソテー、そして牛はカイノミとカメノコ。牛肉は稀少部位を選んでいるところが、お店の心意気を感じます。味付けも、トリュフソースにシャリアピンソース、山葵にお塩に、柚子胡椒とたくさん付いていて、ボリューミーだけれど味変できるので飽きずに思いっきりお肉を楽しめます。
シメもやっぱりお肉。牛とろ炙り肉寿司です。お肉はシャリはおろか、お皿さえ見えなくなるほどの大判で、まず見た目にやられます。そのお肉を、店員さんが目の前でバーナーで炙って提供。炙ったばかりのお肉は香ばしく、あんなにお肉を食べたというのに、また食欲が湧いてくるから不思議です。甘い脂と肉汁がすごいパンチ力で、シメにふさわしい逸品。
