I'm on a business trip to Tokyo today. Since it was Friday, I stayed overnight and had drinks with an old friend. We've been friends since high school and we drink together once every few years. I've also promised to travel after I retire. I'm an old man now, but drinking with old friends brings me back to the old days. Well, since I've booked a hotel in Shinagawa, my friend introduced me to a good restaurant nearby. It was on the second floor of a building, not far from Gotanda Station on foot. There is a counter by the window where you can enjoy course meals and delicious drinks. The basic dish was fish. When I asked about it, I was told that there was a course for 3,500 yen, and I was told that I could enjoy it while drinking sake, and if I didn't have enough, I could order more. At some restaurants in Tokyo, the soy sauce didn't go well with it and I didn't like it a bit, but the one here is delicious. Sorry to disappoint Japanese-style meal chefs, but it has a soothing and warm taste. As expected from Tokyo, the tuna was thick, and the braised pork was also melty. There was also Nabeshima sake, which is hard to find in Kyushu, and the staff at the shop were cheerful and had a great time. Since it was a Friday, the place was packed and I thought it was a popular restaurant. It was delicious, thank you for the meal!
