Stylish wonton noodles in a stylish town! Visit this popular restaurant in Nakameguro! [Alcohol options available]
This is the only restaurant in Guangzhou market on the Tokyu Toyoko Line and Hibiya Subway Line. We offer a lineup that can only be found in a fashionable city. Staff can speak English and Chinese. |
I suddenly had a craving for wonton. Don't you feel like you need wontons, not Gyoza / Dumpling? The ingredients and process are not that different... Holiday lunchtime I've seen Guangzhou Market, which has restaurant in Tokyo, but this was my first visit. It was really nice to see Chinese people (part-timers) silently wrapping wontons inside the store. I was able to enter the store without having to line up, so I ordered this: Coarsely ground beef broth wonton noodles (salt) about 900 yen. I had an image of wonton noodles as thin noodles like Chinese noodles, but these were thick noodles with a wild slurp. The soup has back fat floating on top, but it's not too heavy or light, and it's a good balancer that supports the main dish of wontons. When it was served, the waiter gave a lecture on how to eat wontons deliciously: "Place the wontons on the spoon and enjoy with your favorite sauce." There are three types of sauce: edible chili oil, onion vinegar, salt and ginger, and a seasonal sauce called plum and shiso that is only available until mid-May. There were 10 wontons, so I tried them all, but I liked them the best as is. I don't mean that in a bad way, but just think of them as delicious wontons that are well seasoned. There was also a wide variety of single dishes, so I would like to visit this place as a second stop after drinking.
