Nakameguro is on Yamate Dori. It's a 7 or 8 minute walk from the station. Near the pedestrian bridge just past the Meguro River boat entrance Japanese Cuisine is the restaurant "Raku Shoku Fujita". I have been interested in this restaurant since I was still working in Nakameguro. I never had a chance to go there, but finally I did. The facade of the restaurant is very promising, but the interior also creates a relaxing atmosphere with not-too-bright lighting. It is literally a restaurant for adult Japanese Cuisine who "enjoys food". Reservations are required as the restaurant has only 4 seats at the counter and 8 seats at tables. We recommend the counter seats where you can enjoy "live" food right in front of you. Since it was my first visit, I had the "selection course". Sashimi, soup, grilled dish, side dish, Fried food, Simmered dish, and meal. The menu is prepared according to the best items available on the day. Everything is really delicious and looks gorgeous. They seemed to have heard that we were celebrating a birthday, so instead of the usual rice cooked in an earthenware pot, they hastily made takikomi-gohan (rice cooked in a pot) for us, a nice service at the end of the meal ♫ Toast was a craft beer from Meguro called Meisterbroich. I drank it quickly and switched to my favorite sake. After all, Japanese Cuisine should be paired with Sake, right? I chose the following four on this day. The food and sake, of course, but also the atmosphere of the restaurant and the hospitality.
