中目黒のお寿司屋さん「おにかい+1」に訪問していた時のこと、何やら完全個室のような空間が奥にあることに気がつきました。
お店の人に聞いてみると別のお店で、毛蟹大根鍋を名物とする吉次蟹蔵ということが判明。
なんと10/21で一時閉店とのことで、このタイミングは逃せないと訪問を決めました。
先付けで毛蟹にキャビアが乗って出てきましたが、この時点で絶品。基本的にコースは天ぷらメインで、同じグループのミシュラン受賞の天ぷら店「みやしろ」にいた大将がこだわり抜いた食材を目の前で揚げていました。
海老は言わずもがな、本ししゃもや松茸や甘鯛など、どれもクオリティが高く食材の良さを活かした逸品でした。
最後の毛蟹大根鍋も、大根のとろける食感と蟹味噌の旨みが乗った毛蟹が最高で、〆の雑炊までしっかりと蟹の旨みを満喫しました。
残念ながらもう味わうことができなくなってしまいますが、こちらの大将は11月より麻布台ヒルズに新オープンするお店に行かれるようで、そちらもお伺いしようと思います。
