I had been wanting to go to this restaurant since it was featured in magazines last year. I made a reservation and went there on a weekday evening. The restaurant is renovated from an old house, and you have to climb a narrow staircase to enter the restaurant, but the entrance in front of the staircase is hard to find, so it doesn't feel unpleasant. On the contrary, the restaurant has a hideaway-like feel that heightens your expectations. The seats are quite crowded, but it doesn't bother me too much when I think about the delicious nigiri I can enjoy. The nigiri are seasoned with red vinegar, and there is a good selection of wine. Unlike just a few years ago, it is now common for a decent sushi restaurant in Tokyo to cost over 30,000 to 40,000 yen, so I think this relatively affordable restaurant is very valuable.
