はまぐり専門割烹が中目黒に開店したとfacebookで照会されているのを見て、行ってみました。貝専門店といえば、新宿駅西口「貝だらけ」など都内で数店ありますが、いずれも人気店でなかなか再訪できない(自爆) どこも居酒屋的な雰囲気で良く言えば親しみやすいけど落ち着かない。でもこちらは店内に高級感がありまさに「割烹」で、ゆったり落ち着いて食事できました。
「はまぐり会席」で、おひたし・しゃぶしゃぶ・天ぷらではまぐりを味わいます。さすがに「刺身」ではまぐりは難しいようで、お魚でした。しゃぶしゃぶは沸騰している出汁にはまぐりを浸けて開くまで待つのですが、上手く開かない＝不具合のあるはまぐりは店員が取り替えてくれるなど、よく気がついてくれます。この出汁もしゃぶしゃぶの時にちょこちょこ飲んでみると良い味が出ていましたけど、雑炊にしてもらうとなかなかおいしい。麺も選べますけど、雑炊にして正解でした。
単品メニューも魅力的ですし、支払いも明朗会計。すでに常連客も付いているようで、中目黒駅から遠いけど、今後が期待できます。
