東急東横線学芸大学駅から程近い天ぷらバルでは、ランチそば¥390〜とお手頃価格のランチメニューがあり、お好みで付けられる天ぷらも素材がバリエーション豊富で、単品メニューもokとのこと。
まぐろと水菜のレア揚げ¥690に、天ぷらで、えび¥290、明太子¥190、れんこん¥120、生ハムカマンベール¥230を。
一番良かったのは、明太子。揚げることで、ふっくらとして水気が適度に抜け、明太子の食べ方として一番好きかも。
生ハムとカマンベールも、チーズがとろ〜りとして、いい。
まぐろと水菜は、まぐろと水菜の束を巻いて揚げているのだけど、水菜は揚げるという調理方法にはむかないかも。水菜の間に油が入って、水々しいような油っぽいような不思議な感じに。
海老と蓮根は、シンプルなだけに揚げの技術や素材のレベルが気になるところ。
店内は、通りに面して大きく窓があり、テーブル席が２つ。奥の厨房に面してカウンター席。テーブル席は、開け放たれた窓から陽射しが入り、風が抜けて、開放的で心地よい。この時期、冷えたビールや白ワインが進みます。
お店の方の接客も適度によくて、リラックスして天ぷらを楽しめました。ご馳走様。
