2011年4月、自由が丘にオープンしたフレンチだそうです。
メディアで高い評価だったので気になっていたのですが、
記念日の日曜日、初めて伺いました。
内装はそっけない？ビストロ風で、入ってすぐにテーブル席が３つ、
奥にカウンターがありますが、かなりこじんまりしています。
食べログさんのレビューでも「量が多い」とのことで、それを期待していたのですが
やや肩透かしでした。
たとえば、前菜の「シャルキュトリー」は、はっきり言って普通の量で、レベルもそこそこです。
これだけなら、都内にも、また横浜でも、CP的に上位レベルの店はたくさんあります。
肉料理で量があるというと、銀座の「マルディ・グラ」のようなイメージだったのですが、
この店の本質は別のところにあるのではと思ったのが、シェフのスペシャリテ、「タラのクネル」です。
いわずもがな、有名なリヨン料理で、このメニューを提供するお店は（グランメゾン系では少ないですが）
数多いですが、まさしく絶品でした！ 精妙なアメリケーヌソースとの絶妙な相性と、
シェフの確かな技術を感じさせる一品です。
このお店に来たら、クネルを食さないと、良さがわからないですね。
「仔羊の背肉 岩塩包み焼き」も古典的な料理ですが、二十年ほど前、新宿・四谷の「北島亭」で食べた
以来の感動でした。これはまさしく、(昔の北島亭のように）量もたっぷり、羊肉のうまさを
存分に引き出していました。
店内のそっけなさ？も昔の北島亭のようでしょうか？
新進気鋭のシェフの今後に、大いに期待します。
サービスもいいですね。また、ワインもなかなかCPが良いです。
本日はボトルで注文している人がいませんでしたが、もったいないですね。
