土曜日の自由が丘は駅前からして結構混雑していて、こちらの店も14時を過ぎての入店だったが、席は8割がた埋まっていた。しかし天井が高くて開放感があるから、混んでいる印象は受けない。過ごしやすい空間である。
注文はランチメニューから。当方はステーキランチ2,200円、連れはスープランチ1,400円を選択。飲み物は休日のランチだから当然、生ビールである。当然じゃないか。生ビールは薄めのグラスで提供されるが、泡の具合がきめ細かくてとてもいい。
アミューズは平たいフォカッチャみたいなお焼きみたいなものとマスカルポーネとハムのディップ。ビールに合うが、ワインやその他のお酒にも合いそうだ。サラダは人参のドレッシングがいい感じである。ステーキは赤身肉で、ジャガードを入れているのか、食感が柔らかい。こういう脂身の少ない肉は有り難い。ソースも肉に合っていて美味しかった。パンは提供寸前に温めてくれているようで、食感も香りもいい。サービスも親切でいい感じだ。
デザートのブランマンジェとコーヒーがファミレスみたいなのはご愛嬌。気分よく店を出てぶらぶらと歩き、九品仏で有名な浄真寺に寄って花見がてらの参拝。上品（じょうほん）中品（ちゅうほん）下品（げほん）それぞれの三仏をお参りしたが、下品だけは工事中みたいで、閉じられた扉の外から合掌した。八分咲きの桜が綺麗で、ちょうど16時の撞鐘の音も聞けて、とてもいい休日になった。
