桜新町の駅を降りると、のどかな景観が広がる。下町の雰囲気という感じだ。駅出口のまさに目の前の建物二階に店は入っている。権八というと、もう大分古い話になるが、「キルビル」の映画で使われた西麻布交差点の店舗が思い浮かんでしまう。あちらの箱はとても大きいが、こちらはこじんまりとしていて、カジュアルな雰囲気だ。

どの料理も注文してからすぐに提供されるので、サクッと食事を終えられた。久しぶりに居酒屋に来たが、懐かしく親しみやすい感じがとてもいい。家族連れの客もちらほらと見られ、この街ならではのアットホームな空気もあってよかった。
