西小山・アジアン・エスニック料理「オリエンタルビストロK」
都心にあるのにシャビ―な西小山商店街、にそのお店はあります。駅から、すぐです。
このお店の中に入ると、チープ感のある屋台のようなタイ料理のお店とは全く違う、木のテーブルとイスで、清潔でカジュアルな雰囲気。オーナーシェフが笑顔で出迎えてくださいました。
メニュー・週末ランチは、メインに好みのセットを追加します。メインには、パッタイ、鶏肉のガパオ炒めご飯、シンガポールチキンライス、トムヤムクンヌードル、海老のタイ風チャーハンなど。

私は、「Bセットでカオマンガイ」。ここに住む友人は「Aセットで、ガパオ」をお願いしました。

ドリンクバーに、他にあるのはジャスミンテイ、コーヒー（温・冷）、紅茶（3種）。

シンプルなサラダ。
【前菜】
【生春巻き、エビトースト、揚げ春巻き】
「生春巻き」
ゴイクオン。極薄ライス・ペーパーが、シットリしてもちもち。具には、大葉、プリっぷりな海老。紫蘇が主役でパクチー感はなし。甘辛「スイートチリソース」を付けて。辛い赤唐辛子に甘さとニンニクのパンチがある、くせになるタイプ。
「海老トースト」
パンの中心にエビペーストを詰めたパンのフリット。
「揚げ春巻き」は小麦粉で作った皮の春巻き。
【メイン】
【シンガポールチキンライス】
ここではカオマンガイとは言わず。鶏のスープで炊いたご飯に細切りにした鶏肉をのせて。ミニトマトとキューリが添えてあります。蒸し鶏は、しっとりと柔らかく脂身のないあっさりとした鶏肉。お米は、長米・ジャスミンライス使用。鶏出汁で炊いたご飯も優しい味付けでふんわり。
ソースは、中国たまり醤油“ダークソイ”、生姜油“ジンジャーソース”、タイ風甘辛のチリソースの３種類。辛目のタレも相性がいいですが、もっとも合ったのは“生姜油”、辛さはさほどないものの、ニンニクの旨みが蒸し鶏を引き立ててくれます。

旨味がしっかり出た、深みのある鶏ガラスープです。
友人の【メイン】
「鶏肉のガパオ炒めご飯」
鶏挽肉だけでなく、緑、赤のパプリカなどを細かく刻んだものも一緒にした、醤油とオイスターソースベースのタイバジル炒め。味は濃すぎず、生姜やトウガラシの風味も強くありません。のせた目玉焼きも半熟加減がよく、ご飯とのバランスは良好。
【デザート】
「ココナッツのブラマンジェ」
やや甘めの味付けながら、コクがあって美味。
【食後の飲み物】
「コーヒー」
ビストロ調の家庭的な空間で、上品なタイ料理を楽しめるお店です。どれもシンプルな料理だけに、食材の質がモノを言う感じ。鶏は通常食している八重洲当たりのものより優れていました。日本人好みに多少のアレンジをきかせて穏やかな味に仕上げていました。
タイ料理初心者にも受け入れやすいお昼のセット、夜は、タイ料理を食べ慣れた人に満足してもらえるようなマニアックなものも。少しエスニックな気分を味わいたい方にもおすすめです。

Bistro ``Oriental Bistro K'' in Nishi-Koyama Located a few minutes from Nishi-Koyama. The restaurant name "K" comes from the chef's name and the names of the employees. I wanted to eat Ethnic Cuisine food, so I went to this place I visited before. The menu includes a variety of Thai and Vietnamese dishes, from fresh spring rolls to tom yum goong soup, chicken gapao fried rice, pad thai with shrimp, Singapore chicken rice, tom yum goong noodles, Shingen chicken Vietnamese pho, and Vietnamese Cuisine. I ordered fresh spring rolls and pho. [Appetizer] ``Fresh Spring Rolls'' Packed with chicken, two plump shrimp, cucumbers and other vegetables, wrapped in rice paper and full of flavor. . The accompanying sauce is sweet chili sauce. [Appetizer] ``Steamed Shrimp Gyoza / Dumpling'' Steamed Shrimp Gyoza / Dumpling is filled with plenty of shrimp paste. [Main] ``Vietnamese Pho with Shingen Chicken'' Pho made with chicken stock and topped with steamed chicken, bean sprouts, bok tsai, and fried tofu.
