『美味い魚と日本酒の店』『煙く混む』『若干値は張る』
東急池上線・大井町線、旗の台駅から徒歩2分。駅至近の、通りに面した居酒屋です。階段を上がって2階がお店になります。
厨房を囲むようにカウンター席があり、他、テーブル席が数卓。そこそこの席数がありますが、この店はたいてい賑やかに込み合っています。可能なら予約を。もしくは空席の有無を電話で問い合わせておくのが無難でしょう。
いわゆる居酒屋に属するお店ですが、肉よりも海鮮が豊富で、日本酒のラインナップが非常に豊富。そんな特徴があります。
メニューは大きく2種類。
常時あるグランドメニューは、いわゆる普通の居酒屋さんと大差ありません。特徴あるのは、日替わりラインナップのメニューです。
グランドメニューとは別に書かれた日替わりメニュー。日替わりですが、その中身は実に多彩です。刺身、煮物、揚げ物、焼き物、小鉢と種類が豊富。魚が主体の店なので、その日の仕入れ具合によって、このメニューが変わってきます。この他、山菜などの季節感あふれるメニューも彩を添えます。
刺身も単品から数種の盛り合わせまで多彩。時にクジラも食べられるのが、個人的に気にいっています。
かなり混んでいることが多いので、カウンター席になった場合は若干窮屈に感じます。また、全席喫煙可能なので、場合により煙たさがあります。居酒屋だからやむを得ないとは思いますが、料理が旨い分だけ、あのタバコは何とかならないかなぁ・・・とも思ってしまいます。また、他の店に比べると、お料理の値は若干お高め。ですが、日本酒の旨さと料理の味わいは、これを補って余りある素晴らしさだと思います。
