Visited a little before 11:30 on a Friday. Exit Togoshi Koen Station on the Tokyu Oimachi Line and walk to the right (toward Togoshi Ginza) for about a minute. It's on the 2nd floor of a building on the corner, two doors down from an electrician's shop. It used to be an Indian Curry buffet restaurant called Durga. This is the brand's second store following the Shimoguchi store in Kawasaki City, and the concept is Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) where you can enjoy Indian Cuisine. In addition to Indian Curry made by the owner from Nepal, we also offer Fried food such as sashimi and pork cutlets, and grilled ginger. At noon, the menu includes lunch set meals and authentic Indian Curry. I ordered the cheese naan set for ¥1150. Choose from 6 types of curry, 5 levels of spiciness, and 6 types of set drinks. I ordered butter chicken curry for the curry, spicy for the spiciness, and lassi for the set drink. (Spicy is said to be between medium and extremely spicy.) At lunchtime, you can get free refills of naan and rice. Cheese naan set cannot be replaced with cheese naan, but you can replace with naan and rice. The set salad and lassi were served in about 7 minutes, and the curry and cheese naan were served in about 8 minutes. The butter chicken curry is slightly thick and has a rich buttery flavor. There are 5 or 6 large pieces of chicken. I set the spiciness one level short of super spicy, and although the spiciness was strong, it wasn't strong. Cheese naan is a round shape that is divided into four equal parts, and the amount is about the same as a medium-sized pizza. Plenty of cheese is sandwiched throughout, giving it a moist and chewy texture. It is less salty. I like cheese naan, so I ate just the cheese naan first and had the curry with rice instead. By the way, the rice is not yellow saffron rice, but regular white rice. The set salad includes lettuce, cabbage, and carrots. It is topped with plenty of southern dressing. Lassi has a strong sweetness and is slightly sticky. It wasn't anything special, but it was a delicious curry. As a souvenir, I ordered an takeaway cheese naan for ¥486 and brought it home.
