ふたりの女性は新たなる生命のために買い物を楽し気に続けている。
ふたりの男は飽くことが無いふたりの女性の買い物姿にくたびれ果てて店内の椅子に腰を降ろす。
さて、いかなる生命がこの地球上に放出されるのであろうか。。

さて、この俺ときたら、年末から追われようにあてどなく飲み続けている。。
我が倅、そしてその嫁は美味そうにしゃぶしゃぶを平らげ肉、野菜のおかわりを続ける。
婆になろうであろう我が妻は二人を見守るようにして微笑ましく箸を運んでいる。
倅と来たら肉を喰いながら卵掛けご飯を2杯、3杯と続けている。。
そして28年を遡れば初産のお腹が突き出た妻の姿が浮かんでくる。
好き放題を今でも続けている俺は親の務めを果たしたのであろうか。。
作家、坂口安吾は『親があっても子が育つ』と終戦後の日本を揶揄している。
太宰治に至っては『親があるから子が育たぬ』とその自虐性の表現で訴える。
しかし新たなる生命を前にして今でも親の義務を果たし続ける我妻に感謝をするほかに術はない。
さて、次、500ｍＬの赤のデキャンタを嫁に教わった通りにタッチパネルを操作する老いた俺がいる。
