しゃぶしゃぶ温野菜といえばいわずと知れたレックスホールディングスのレインズの業態。
牛角や土間土間などとも同じ系列店ではある。
しかーし、良いじゃない。行きつけの店にこういったチェーンが在っても。
ということで僕がよく出没するのがこの馬込店。
環七のそばにあって車を止めるのに最高の駐車場もついている。
この立地、実は大昔はハングリータイガーでした。その後、暖中になり
そして流れ着いた「しゃぶ温」最近これで何年か固定されているみたい。
店長が変わってサービスが少しドライになったけど、
野菜をたらふく食べに行くときの選択肢としては依然として健在。
ある自称グルメのすごい人にあったときに「恵比寿にすごい店がある！
しゃぶしゃぶ温野菜って言うんだよ！」といわれたときはどうしようかと思いました。
おずおずと「それ、チェーン店です。有名な、牛角と同系列の…」と勇気を持って発言。
「えー、知らなかった。」と彼はしばし絶句。
でも、個人店だから美味しいとか、チェーン店はまずいとか言う概念はいらない。
自分が好きならそれでいいと僕は思います。
でもそのグルメの帝王の彼が「旨み牛ってのがあってこれが最高！霜降りの和牛であの値段、信じられんよ！」といったときには、
「そうですよね。」としかいえなかった引っ込み思案の僕。
･･･それ、ちゃんとメニューブックにも※印で「大豆由来の原料を使用した加工肉です。」と記載があります。
今は技術が発達しているから外国産の牛肉に霜降りで大豆や牛脂を注入できるんです。
もちろん、美味しいのは勝手だけど、霜降りの和牛なんてどこにも書いていないからね。
お店だってメニューにちゃんと書いてくれているのに…。
