休日に池上に住む知人宅へお邪魔しました。
駅で知人と待ち合わせして、以前から気になっていたコチラのお店に今回初訪問。
本門寺通り商店街を歩いてすぐのところにお店があります。
こじんまりとした雰囲気の良いビストロ。
今回はテイクアウト出来る「カヌレ」がお目当て。
店内はL字カウンターとテーブル席、「カヌレ」を購入して知人にもお土産として渡しました。
カヌレはフランスの伝統菓子。正式名称は、「カヌレ・ド・ボルドー」。ワインの澱を卵白などを使ってクラリフィエする際に、余る卵黄を利用するために考案されたと言われているお菓子。
カヌレ型に、唯一食用出来るロウ、「蜜蝋」を塗って焼き上げた、外側はパリッと中はしっとりとした焼菓子です。
ひと昔前は、ミニャルディーズとして出しているお店も多かったですが、最近では余りみなくなりました。
久しぶりのカヌレ。
コチラのお店のカヌレは良い感じのカラメル色をしています。(自分の勝手な意見ですが、きちんと蜜蝋を使用されていると思います。)
中はモチっとしていて、カヌレらしいカヌレ。
今回はテイクアウト利用でしたが、次回は食事に行きたいです。
