創業は大正13年（1924年）と90余年もの歴史を誇る老舗。〝うなぎ食堂〟を謳い、うなぎ料理を看板商品としながらも、メニューは刺身や天ぷら、鍋など幅広くとりそろえており、四季折々の味を気軽に楽しむことができます。店構えこそ日常使いのできるうなぎ店ですが、使う食材は国産のうなぎやどじょうの他、ノドグロ、ハモ、あんこうといった高級魚が並び、本格和食店に劣らぬ高品質で提供しています。 |
前から気になっていた、中原街道沿いの鰻屋さん。うな重を食べようと思っていったのだが、同行者が小食のためと、その日割引されていたこともあってランチメニューのうな丼を注文。1000円を切る値段からして、うな重のそれとは鰻が違うのか訊いてみたが、大きさだけということなので、まあいいか。（まずい鰻は食べたくないのでね）。
ご飯は固めでぽろぽろしてて、これは残念な味。でもそれ以外は悪くない。鰻は、確かに小さくて薄めだけど、皮も柔らかく、ふっくらかりっと。たれも濃すぎず。一緒にのっていた卵焼きもちょうどいい甘さ。マグロの剥き身は脂が乗っていて美味だった。 漬物と汁物はまあそれほどではなかったけど、価格からしてそこまでは期待してないから、私としては合格点。
30円引きの半ライスだけど、もうちょっと少なくてもいいと思える量だった。ここは鰻だけではなく、てんぷらや刺身、焼き魚などもあって、地元の人に愛されている風だった。再訪したい店だ。
