久が原駅近くにあるクライアントとの打ち合わせ。
それを終えて、近くでランチを済ませていくことにします。お邪魔したのは「中華料理 嘉宴」さん。場所は、東急多摩川線鵜の木駅前です。
入店すると、思ったよりも清潔めで広めの店内。店員さんは大陸系の方で、奥にある厨房の方とも現地語での会話です。
そのランチメニューはかなり種類が多く、しかもリーズナブル。その中から、シェフおすすめと書いてある「マーボー麺」と「半チャーハン」のセットをお願いしました。
その「マーボー麺」は、本当に豆腐がたくさん入っていて、上からは麺が見えない程のスープの赤さ。普通の麻婆豆腐をラーメンスープで溶いてあるのかなと思いますが、スープ自体には粘度は殆どありません。飲んでみると、かなり辛さがシャープで辣油と豆板醤がしっかり効いていますが、麻味は比較的控えめです。
麺は中太のストレートで、なかなか良くスープと絡みます。挽肉が多めなのも嬉しいところで、ボリュームも相応にありました。個人的には麻婆豆腐はライスがベストだと思っていましたが、この麺はありですね。
一方の「半チャーハン」は、程良くパラパラで油っこさはありません。味付けは薄めだと感じましたが、もしかしたら「マーボー麺」の辛さの後だったので、余計にそう感じたのかも。具材は玉子・チャーシュー・ネギ・人参と極めてシンプルで、でも「マーボー麺」とのコンビネーションは良かったと思います。
お勘定は、「マーボー麺」700円＋「半チャーハン」セット150円で、合計850円。文句無しにリーズナブルな価格です。
