There are menus that can be eaten at Cafeterias and food stalls in Taiwan, giving you a feeling of small Taiwan. The exterior and interior of the store is a Taiwanese/colonial style, with a beautiful Taiwanese feel. At lunchtime, I had a paiku rice set meal with tofu. The pai koo rice is made with thicker pork than the ones you get in Taiwan, and is light and flavorful with plenty of pepper. Side dishes include soup with fishballs, Japanese wood ear mushrooms, and lightly pickled cabbage. The side dishes are Japanese-style. The toufa also included Taiwanese dumplings and beans, giving it an authentic feel. It's a little far from the station and up a hill, but I'm glad I went. I'll go there if it's nearby. The porridge cake is cat-shaped and cute, and the pineapple filling is authentic and crispy. Recommended as a small souvenir.
