お昼ごはん
■だし巻き定食 ¥1,300（税込）
そこそこ美味しくて、綺麗な「だし巻き卵」が作れれば、今の時代お店を出してもいいかもしれない。
そんな考えに至ったのは、代々木上原の人気和食店『酒処 小林』に伺ったから。2023年1月に古民家を改装してオープンしたこちら。もともとは、長寿庵というお蕎麦屋さんが入っていたのだが、スタイリッシュな和モダンなお店へと刷新された。
週末の13:15頃に伺うと、2組の待ち。5分ほどで店内へ案内された。それにしても、店内は若い女性だらけ。そのワケは、ほとんどのゲストが頼むメニュー、「だし巻き卵」にある。そんなだし巻き卵を主菜にした「だし巻き定食」を、QRコードを読み込みスマホからオーダー。
14〜15分ほどで到着。美しく整えられた「だし巻き卵」。お出汁がジュワッと染み込む、優しいだし巻き卵だ。一品料理としては美味しいが、白ごはんのおかずとなると、やや物足りないかも。個人的には大根おろしがあると、いっそういいかなと感じた。定食には、小鉢3品、お新香も付くのは嬉しい。ただ残念なのは、白ごはんが美味しくない点。色味が悪く、状態が悪い。和食店なのであれば、やはり白ごはんの質は大切にしてもらいたいところ。
お会計はメニューページから、クレジットカードで支払い。14:00頃には売り切れになっていたので、気になる方は早めの時間に伺うのが良さそう。美味しく美しいだし巻き卵が作れれば、きっとインスタ女子が群がってくることだろう。
