今や知る人も減った徳冨蘆花の住まい跡の
広大な盧花恒春園の少し南、
内回り沿いにあるデニーズ、
最近はファミレスも24H営業をやめ、
7時〜24時。
1階がリパークと提携のコインP、
デニーズ利用者は2時間無料。
店内に入ると出迎えはなく、
自分で席を探す。
電子呼び鈴を押して、
ドリンクバー付きの
グリルドチーズサンドモーニング430円
を注文。
いかにもJKな女子スタッフは、
白の清潔感あふれる
アメリカンハイスクールな制服、
少し胴長なのが、
体育会系っぽい好感の持てる後ろ姿。
例によって飲食の人手不足、
蝶ネクタイの若いおにいさんとテキパキ動く。
タイミングが合う客は、
「デニーズにようこそ♪」と声をかけてもらえる。
スマホ注文決済で割引サービスを始める一方、
ゆで卵用の塩のボトルには11/2と油性マジックで消費期限を書いてある。
朝の客はやはり老人が7割、
塩の効いた薄いチーズサンド、
固茹で卵、
豊富なドリンクバー、
なんの不足もない。
広いテーブルで気分良く執筆活動、
430円払ってご馳走さま。
