It is located on a street about 1 minute from Chitose-Funabashi Station on the Odakyu Line. It is next to [a:13116943, Yokerusha]. The restaurant is not particularly large, with counter seats and two two-person tables along the kitchen, and two tables in the back, but it has a calm and mature atmosphere. It is run by the chef and his mother. It seems to be a popular restaurant, and 90% of the seats are filled with regulars. It was lunchtime, so most people ordered set meals, but some people were drinking alcohol. There are six types of lunch that change daily: sashimi set meal 1500 yen, silver cod teriyaki 1800 yen, mackerel dried in soy sauce 1500 yen, Iwanaka pork and seasonal vegetables steamed in a bamboo steamer 1800 yen, chicken tempura 1000 yen, and snow crab and asparagus with egg 1800 yen. I ordered the silver cod teriyaki set meal for 1800 yen. The people who came in about 10 minutes after me got their chicken tempura first, so maybe I ordered the wrong thing? It took quite a while for my meal to be served. The meal consisted of boiled cod, two Small dish (boiled deep-fried Simmered dish, boiled hijiki seaweed), and three types of sashimi, all of which were delicious. The cod was also very tasty, but it had a lot of small bones and was difficult to eat. Each dish was carefully prepared and elegantly seasoned, which explains why it is so popular, but I was disappointed that there were no vegetables in Small dish. I'm sure something protein-focused goes better with alcohol.
