祖師谷大蔵駅徒歩何分だ？と時間で書くほどもない駅近くの二階にある居酒屋。
友人等と気軽に入れそうだったので夕食に利用してみた。
店内はありがちな和風居酒屋、メニューも今流行り？な手書きメニュー。
黒板にあるお勧めの魚には聞き慣れない魚がちらほらあり、魚好きには良さそうな店。
メニューはとにかく魚料理で溢れ、王道の和食というよりは和風創作料理といった感じの料理名が並んでいる。
ドリンクメニューは良くも悪くも有名銘柄が揃っているので初めて来店でもそこそこ楽しめる。
まずは魚がウリということで刺し盛りを注文してみた。
出て来た盛り合わせはブリ・サーモン・アジ・平目・ホタテの五点盛り。
そこそこ良い値段がした記憶だが、なにぶん飲みながらなので値段は忘却。
ただ覚えているのはその切り方と盛り方の雑なこと。
魚の鮮度は申し分ないが雑に切られた魚が見た目にも食感にも良くないのがとても残念。
ブリはズタズタ、サーモンの厚さはバラバラ、アジはスジっぽいしっぽの部分がそのままで食感最悪、ヒラメは無駄に厚切りなので歯切れが悪く、ホタテに至っては原型を留めていない。
魚を色々揃えているわりには魚の扱いは最悪。
刺身を素人に切らせてはいけないという見本のような刺し盛りだった。
他の料理も共通して味は悪くないがとにかく雑。盛り付けや火加減など細部が全くの素人。
料理は恐らくレシピは良いのだろうと思う、味付けは良いので・・
ただ、雑で火加減もてきとうなので食感や見た目が残念なものばかり。
一応酔いながらも料理の写メは撮ってみたものの、あまりの雑な出来栄えに料理名すら分からない。
これは料理なのか？と翌日改めて自分の撮った写メを見て驚いた程。
結構飲んだので値段も行ってしまったが、そこに満足感は全く感じない。
再訪もないだろう。
