Murasari is located in front of Sun Plaza at the north exit of Nakano Station. It's on the 4th floor of the building, but I knew it was here because there was a sign visible from Nakano-dori. I took the elevator up to the 4th floor and the entrance was right in front of me. As soon as I entered the restaurant, a staff member came to me, so I told them the number of people in my party and was shown to my seat. I was seated at a table right at the front, so I didn't know what the back was like, but it seemed to be more spacious than I thought. I started with a drink, but the draft beer was priced at 480 yen, which is a bit high, like a Showa-era chain restaurant, so I decided to go for a slightly cheaper Torys Highball (380 yen). By the way, it was possible to change it to a mega mug for an additional 200 yen, so I ordered a mega mug from the second drink onwards, which was a hassle to order every time. As for the food, I ordered a Hanamori (760 yen) with three pieces of sashimi. It seems that the name changes depending on the number of pieces of sashimi. I also ordered the standard Showa-era izakaya, homemade rolled omelet (340 yen) and steamed clams in sake (440 yen). The stability of the dashi around here is as expected from a long-established Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). As expected, this food alone won't fill you up, so I'll go for the mega-sized portion! I'll also include fries (680 yen), which is aimed at younger generations. It was a fair amount of fries, but considering the price, it didn't feel like a good deal. In the end, the bill came to about 3,500 yen per person, which is about the same as eating normally, so it's undeniable that it's a bit pricey compared to the cheap Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that are common these days. The food menu isn't particularly unique, which is probably due to the stability of this long-established chain that has been around since the Showa era and continued through the Heisei era. If you're not looking for something new, but want to drink in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the place for you. Thank you for the meal.
