さて、昼をどうしようかと思案した。
実は前から来てみたかったお店があって、そこを覗いてみることにする。
「常笑」という魚がおいしいので人気の居酒屋。
コロナ以降、昼の定食をやっている。
お店は小さく、特に入口近くのテーブルは背中に通りの気配を感じるまるで屋台のような雰囲気。
目の前に板場があって刺身をきりつける仕事が見える。
女将さん風情の女性スタッフ、色黒男子がふたり仲良く働いていて、お店の中は民家を改装したような造り。なかなか風情がございます。
「田舎スペシャル」を選んで注文。次々料理が作られて、次々お膳に並べられてく。ＢＧＭは昭和歌謡で菅原洋一の「今日でお別れ」のさみしい歌詞に聞き入ってたら料理ができる。
お膳の上にはぎっしり料理が並べられてる。
メインは刺身と焼き魚。
刺身は大葉とつま、焼いた魚にはおろしたばかりの大根おろし。
刺身はマグロの赤身に鯛にタコ。
それだけでも十分ご飯が食べられそうな分量なのに、小鉢が７つに漬物がつき汁にご飯でひと揃え。
これだけの種類の料理を一度に揃えるって家ではなかなかできないコトで、とてもうれしい。
まず刺身のしっかりしていること。マグロは熟成されていて、ねっとり舌に張り付くような肉感的な食感、味わい。
鯛はブリッと歯ごたえがよく、生のタコには飾り包丁が丁寧に入れられていてムチッと歯切れてネットリ奥歯を包み込む。
小鉢料理もほとんど魚を使った料理。
鯛とあら煮は一緒に煮込んだ大根まで味がしっかり染み込んでいる。魚のすり身を団子にし揚げて甘酢であえた中華風の魚団子。
マグロの切り身の竜田揚げ。白身魚を一旦揚げてピーマンと一緒に炒めたチンジャオロースー味の一品。白身魚の南蛮漬け。味わい、風味が多彩でたのしい。
こんにゃくとキムチのきんぴらや胡椒をたっぷり使ったマカロニサラダとどれもがご飯がすすむ料理ばかり。汁もあら汁。これで１２００円という値段もありがたく、こりゃめっけもんと感心しました。オキニイリ。
