過日の夕刻。中野駅南口でひとり飲み店の新規開拓。以前テイクアウトで焼鳥を買って帰ったことのあるこちらに初めて伺う。
店内はこの手のお店としては珍しく、カウンター席ではなくテーブル席メインのダイニング配置。左手の壁には誰だか一人も解らなかったのだけれど恐らく有名人と思しき方々のサインが落書っぽく書かれていたり、映画のワンシーンのスナップ写真などが貼ってあったりして、店頭ファサードにて受ける印象よりもかなり明るくポップな雰囲気。重鎮っぽくカウンター席に座っている人が店主だろうか。お給仕と調理は比較的若い男性二人、なかなかのホスピタリティとコンビネーションで頑張っている。
とりあえずの生中、お勧めのレバ炙りを注文。炙りレバは付け合わせの刻み葱と胡麻油が存外よろしきマッチング。アルコールを緑茶ハイに変えて串物４本とポテサラを追加。串物はきちんと炭焼のよろしさを感じられるもの。普通に美味しい。中では生ピーマンと合わせていただいた大判つくね、卵の黄身ディップスタイルでコリッとした食感もありいい感じ。最後に緑茶ハイを一杯追加して本日の一人呑みサクッと終了。
以上税込み3,400円ほど。頂いたものの質量鑑みてかなりよろしきコストパフォーマンス。焼鳥はこれくらいのお値段でやるのが素敵。
まだ続く意味無し東京都飲食店虐め自粛要請により、20時にてオーダーストップということだけれど、応接含め健気に頑張っていて応援したくなってくる。入店前に想定していたよりも酒肴の味わいも悪くなく、きちんと支払い明細を出してくれるところなども誠実で好感が持てる。
ざっかけない雰囲気、酒肴の味わい、店員さんの応接具合、諸々がちょうどイイ。中野駅南口の串焼を供するお店の中では、かなり上位に位置するお店と思う。再訪ありの良店。
