I was interested when I learned that a restaurant where you can eat eel at a reasonable price had opened, but I never had the chance to go until today. I went in at night feeling like an eel. A clean and bright store. In a good way, it has a casual atmosphere similar to a chain store. The menu also includes a la carte dishes and Japanese sake, so it seemed like a good option to use Izakaya (Japanese-style bar). I had a large serving of rice (100 yen) for the unagiju (2,300 yen). I got 200 yen off at Seco Seco with a LINE coupon. I wasn't expecting much from the unagiju that was served, considering the price, but it was delicious. There were two types of sansho on the table, and both were delicious. But I might prefer it when it comes out of a mill. It also came with wasabi and green onion, and I thought it wasn't hitsumabushi, so I added it, but it was surprisingly delicious. If you add the dashi soup set (200 yen), it seems like you can make it hitsumabushi style, but it was delicious as an eel soup, so I ate it all as is. Even a large serving of rice felt just right, so if you're average, you might feel like it's less. I don't eat eel on a regular basis, and I doubt I eat it even once a year, so I can't compare it to other restaurants. However, for people like me, eel is too expensive to eat! Since this is the target group, I would be an appropriate customer for this store. I don't know what kind of eel you can get for around 2,000 yen at other restaurants, but I was satisfied with the price and would want to go again.
