阿佐ヶ谷で所用の後で夕食を。
最初はおこげに行こうと思ったらすでに５組待ち。17時にしては多いなと思ったら通し営業のため。
そこで前回蹴られたチキンレッグへ。
店内は意外と奥が広がっており悪くない雰囲気。
お通しのポテサラをつまみながらジョニーウォーカーをハイボールで。
特製ドレッシングのグリーンサラダハーフサイズ。
酒のアテにうずらの卵食べるラー油掛けに知覧鶏皮ポン酢和え。
タリスカーのハイボールで併せる。
レバー三種盛り。
美桜鶏のレバーレアコンフィ仕立て、パテ・ド・カンパーニュ、美桜鶏のレバーペーストバケット添えと意外とボリュームがある。
コンフィが美味しくてつい赤ワインをグラスで注文。
メインのハラミをハーフサイズで。
チキンレッグという店名からしてさつま知覧どりが看板メニューらしいが一番人気が牛ハラミという事だったのでハラミを注文。
元々甘いタレに漬け込まれているのでそのままなにも付けずに頂ける。
本当にハラミだろうかというくらいの柔らかさ。
今回頼まなかったさつま知覧どりは商標登録種。
ブロイラーの親鳥となる種鶏、採卵用の鶏となるレイヤー成鶏を鹿児島県知覧工場で処理したもの。
もともとこれらは450日～700日の長期飼育が行われ、卵を産まなくなったものを処理して食用にしていたのが始まりらしい。
ちょっと珍しいジャガイモと明太子のアヒージョ。
白ワインのグラスでつまむ。
最後にクリームチーズの甘口醤油漬けといぶりがっこで整える。
山葵が付いているのが珍しいがなかなかいける。
