JR荻窪駅北口、飲み屋が集まっている一画の中の一軒、和風居酒屋 卯 (うさぎ)。
連休合間、行きつけは軒並休業だったので、当店に初訪問してみることにした。
田舎造りな店内は、一階にカウンター、テーブルが3卓、二階は15名程収容できるらしい。

◆新竹の子と蕗の炊き合わせ (780円)
◆春キャベツの温野菜サラダ (680円)
◆お通し (300円ぐらい？)
日本酒、焼酎などはそこそこ名品が揃っている。
料理は、刺身類は鮮度良好、炊き合わせも口に合った。
温野菜大好きなぼくとしては、春キャベツの温野菜サラダも好感が持てる。
なお、ぼくは注文しなかったが、“恐竜の玉子” という料理が目玉商品らしい。(笑)
ぼくは少人数においてのカウンター党だが、時には二階席では15人程度の宴会もいいかもしれない。
落ち着いた雰囲気の中で、ゆったりと過ごせる一軒かと思える。
