駅ガード下、ややけだるい雰囲気のローカルな商店街「マイロード」にある庶民的な和風居酒屋（お隣は南インドカレーの大岩食堂です）。カウンターとテーブル席で入口が分かれています。お刺身など鮮魚や、その他定番のおつまみ料理が豊富。
まぁこれだけならごく普通ですが、メニューにはちょっと面白いものが…。こちらの看板料理はすっぽん！ 鹿肉！（店長の親戚が猟師。たまに熊もあるらしい）なのです。
高級なお店では何万円もする場合もあるすっぽんコース料理が、こちらは1人4千円少々。安いのには何か秘密があるのでしょうか…でも庶民にはともかく十分おいしく、品数もたくさんでお腹いっぱいで大満足です。というか、すっぽんの出汁のお味がとても良いです。ぱっと見はそんなに垢抜けないイメージのお店（失礼）だけどあなどれない。
すっぽんコースは要予約ですが、茶碗蒸し・唐揚・鍋・雑炊は一品料理としていつでもいただけます。一品でも手頃な価格で、雑炊は880円。曜日によっていろいろサービスがあるので要チェック。土曜はすっぽん料理（コース以外）が半額！ 品切れするので来店はお早めに。
場所のせいか、あまり知られていない気がします。店長は地元・荻窪出身とのことで、西荻窪を代表するお店になってほしいです。
