Immediately after exiting the north exit of Nishi-Ogikubo Station and heading in the direction of Women's University, turn right in front of the bookstore and head to the second floor of the building where Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers) is located. When you enter, there is a counter with 8 seats, a table with 4 seats on the left, and 3 tables that can seat 10 people on the right. The interior is a modern structure with exposed concrete and wood grain. The store is run by a general manager in his 40s. The owner is said to have been at the restaurant in Ginza, and the food gives a glimpse of that. Although the flavor is a little strong, all the dishes stand out. There is a wide range of good sashimi including tuna. The guesswork is also unique and enjoyable. Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) dishes such as stewed beef tendon have a sophisticated taste. There are also foreign customers in the store, so the atmosphere is nice. The CP is reasonable because they haven't cut corners on the ingredients, but this time it's less than 10,000 yen, including two draft beers, one glass of cold sake, and a glass of wine, so it's probably about right. This is a valuable restaurant because there were no good quality Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) for adults in Nishiogi.
