ＪＲの線路沿いを歩くと「Ｂｏ－Ｐｅｅｐ」があります。
ここでは目当ての「トライフル」４５０円（税込）をテイクアウトです。
初めて食べましたが、語源は「気ままなおしゃべり」だったり、残り物またはあり合わせで作ったデザートだから
「つまらない物」と言う意味合いもあるそうです。
実はイギリスのデザートなんですね・・・、食べた後に調べて気が付きました・・・（笑）。
カスタードやスポンジケーキ、フルーツなどを器のなかで層状に重ねたものなんですが、フルーツはちょっと控えめです。
まぁ、あり合わせですから仕方ないのかも・・・（笑）、冗談です。
今更ですが、イギリスのお菓子だと思うとちょっと印象が変わります。
歴史って大切かも？と感じた「トライフル」でした。
