とある新聞でタレントが、高円寺の「えん寺」を紹介している記事を見て、吉祥寺で素通りしていた総本店のことを思い出し、初訪問。
麺を、極太胚芽麺(そばのような食感)、太もちもち麺(うどんのような食感)、国産小麦麺(いわゆるつけ麺食感)の3タイプから選べるメニュー設定。麺の量を選べるメニューにしているつけ麺屋さんは多いですが、麺の種類を選べるお店は初めて。当日の気分として、また珍しさもあり、私は極太胚芽麺をチョイス。茹で上がりまで、少し待ちます。
スープは、ベジポタと表されていて、確かに野菜や魚介、お肉などが溶け込んでいて、とても濃厚、美味しかったです。トロトロでした。スープの付け足しもオーダーもできました。
さすが、皆さん評判の良い店として、実感。また行きたいお店のひとつです。
