Shio Ramen 's popular restaurant "Menya Kaijin" opens a store in Kichijoji. "I want you to enjoy the soup to the fullest," says the signboard, which is the same as the main store in Shinjuku, with "ar
...a-cooked soup" made with fish ara. The soup, which is cooked after grilling about seven kinds of fish, such as sea bream and yellowtail, is finished in a clear taste that does not make you feel dull while bringing out the umami flavor by carefully removing the scum. Since the fish changes daily, the changing flavor is also a pleasure from day to day. First of all, try "Ara Cooking Salt Ramen Heshikoyaki with Onigiri" (¥950). The sea bream surimi with shrimp topping is fluffy, and the chicken tsukune with cartilage is crunchy. At the end, throw in the Onigiri of heshiko (mackerel pickled in bran)! The flavor of the sushi blends with the soup, and you can enjoy the permeated umami flavor to the last drop in porridge style. The "clam ramen" (¥1000), which can only be tasted at Kichijoji, is also a must-eat, and has a rich iso flavor.
