娘が焼肉が食べたいと言うので地元「富士ロック」に。
実はカレーおじさんのレビューで、こちらはネパール人のお店で、カレーがあると知り、是非とも一度伺ってみたかったのです。
場所は板橋文化会館の目の前のビルの二階と好立地。18時前の早い時間でしたが、狭い店内、既に何組かのお客さんがいて賑わっています。
日曜日だからでしょうかね。
なるほど店員さんは皆さんネパールの方の様です。お揃いで着ていらっしゃるＴシャツの背中に「Tom Boy」の文字が。Leeさんのレビュー通り、池袋のカレー屋さん「Tom Boy」の系列店の様ですね。
幾つかのアルコールは入店から1時間は半額との事で、夫と娘は半額メニューよりハイボールを、私は残念ながら断酒したので、オールフリーを注文。
さて、焼肉やらサラダを幾つか頼みましたが、普通に美味しい。私が1番気に入ったのは、炙りレバー。「軽く網で焼いてくださいね」と店員さん。（生で食べないでください。何かあれば自己責任ですよ）と言うことなのでしょう。さっと炙っていただきます。久しぶりのレバ刺しは旨い。オールフリーで喉を潤せば、すっかり呑んでる気分です。
お腹が満たされて来たところで、カレーを注文することに。
メニューを見ると、カレーは2種類。「和牛カルビマサラカレー」と「ヒマラヤチキンキーマカレー」それぞれ840円と750円。
ネパールらしく後者の「ヒマラヤ…」に決定です。30センチぐらいありそうな大きな器で登場。
一口食べてみるとなかなかスパイシーで良い味ではないですか。程よく辛さがあり、ご飯がすすみます。これで750円とはリーズナブル。
こちらはカレーだけ食べに来店するのも大いにありです。
